Healing Anxiety

Anxiety, whether in the form of a panic attack or the near-constant feeling of dread about one’s life, can harshly and dramatically impair a person’s quality of life.

When anxiety manifests as a panic attack, it can feel as though one’s entire body has betrayed them. Physical symptoms can range from profuse sweating and heart palpitations to chest pain and dizziness. The mental impact of a panic attack can feel even worse, including feelings of losing control, that one’s sanity is slipping away or even that death is imminent.

In contrast, those who instead of being taken over by the violent suddenness of a panic attack, live their daily lives in an almost constant state of nervousness, dread or persistent anxiety, can find it difficult to feel happy, excited or even remotely secure about the various aspects of their lives. For many, this manifests sharply as social anxiety that keeps them from feeling comfortable in either work or social settings.

The Shamanic Perspective

From the shamanic perspective, all forms of anxiety have their root in trauma or other negative experience that occurred in either this lifetime or another. The key to healing said trauma or event being to journey in shamanic fashion to its origin and heal it at its source through any combination of soul retrieval, extraction, and cord-cutting. The practitioner would then bring that healing forward to the present and make it complete.

With anxiety disorders being, unfortunately, so common an occurrence these days, I’ve gained a great deal of experience with helping people navigate and heal the cause of their unease.
